Company DescriptionIndy Paws Veterinary Hospital is a family-oriented Veterinary practice on the East side of downtown Indianapolis. Previously known as Emerson Pet Clinic, the practice has been an establishment in the Little Flower community for many years providing wellness and illness care to the area's furry residents. Since 2017, the team has has been working to expand the practice's offerings and medical care. We have all of the bells and whistles of a modern practice and have remodeled half of the practice in 2018. We have plans to continue updating the building in the future.Our hours of operation are:Monday: 8:00AM - 6:00PM***Closed 12:00PM - 1:15PM on Mondays**Tuesday - Friday: 8:00AM - 6:00PMWe are closed on weekendsTo learn more about us click here.Job DescriptionJob duties include, but are not limited to:Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises.
