Registration Representatives are often the first point of contact upon patient arrival and are required to have excellent customer service skills. This position will input patient information received in person or over the phone, to update the hospital system for patient demographic, insurance, financial obligation, or appointment related data for a variety of practice and hospital services.
This position is a full-time role (36 hours / week). Employees are required to work any variable schedule including the flexibility to work on a mixture of days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and rotating holidays supporting our 24/7 operations. Additional information will be provided during the interview process. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
Our office is located at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, 489 State St, Bangor, ME, 04401.
We offer 2 - 3 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be based on your schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment. Training will be conducted on - site.
