This could include in-Person individual site visits, troubleshooting, and overall customer support.Salary/Hourly Rate$21 – $22/hrPosition OverviewThe Registration Specialist educate individuals/employers on fiscal intermediary interaction, authorized services, and successful self-direction. The Registration Specialist support enrollment, including processing documentation, background checks, and obtaining employer identification numbers.Responsibilities Of The Registration Specialist
- Follow up on referrals for participant-directed services
- Support individuals/employers in completing necessary enrollment documentation
- Identify and resolve enrollment barriers
- Coordinate with case management entities for service approval and authorization
- Perform in-home visits as needed
- Collaborate with stakeholders to minimize enrollment cycles and ensure timely provider payments
- Assess participants' ability to successfully participate in self-directed services
- Communicate necessary supports or accommodations for program success
- Provide person-centered education specific to individual goals and outcomes
- Educate on roles and responsibilities for self-directed services, including payroll and tax reporting
- Offer direct and train-the-trainer instruction on navigating program rules and financial management systems
- Train on identifying and reporting suspected fraud, abuse, neglect, and exploitation
- Report and follow up on allegations of suspected fraud
- Document services provided and time committed per policies
- Communicate referral corrections to case management entities
- Meet quality assurance standards
- Update enrollment status through the portal and systems
- Support workforce management delegation to meet service levels
- Report evidence of inability to self-direct appropriately
Qualifications For The Registration Specialist
- Minimum of one year of experience serving individuals with disabilities and/or aging adults preferred. Additional requirements as per state contract
- Strong customer service and support experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, Five 9, My Account platforms, and web-based applications
- High aptitude for process assessment, improvement, and recommendations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is preferred; may substitute with 1+ years of related experience
