Registration Specialist
: Job Details :

To facilitate a positive patient experiences as well as proper billing procedures, this role is responsible for the accurate completion of all registration related duties including, but not limited to, patient check-in, registration, verifying demographic/insurance information, validating authorizations/referrals, scheduling, patient portal enrollment, and point of service collections. This position will educate patients upfront of their estimated financial responsibilities, perform compassionate and professional efforts to secure payments prior to service where appropriate, and provide information related to assistance programs when applicable. This role will maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA as well as Waterbury Hospital s Compliance and Privacy standards as well as all other corporate policies and procedures.
