Our client is seeking a Registration Specialist to join their team! Our client is a company dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or other long-term health conditions to remain in their homes and have control over their care. This organization acts as a fiscal intermediary, supporting programs that enable people to direct their services and make decisions about who provides their care and where it takes place. Salary/Hourly Rate:
$21/hr - $23/hr
Position Overview:
The Registration Specialist is a critical role that supports individuals with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or other long-term health conditions by guiding them through the enrollment process for participant-directed services. This position helps ensure that participants can successfully self-direct their care by providing clear, person-centered education and assistance. The Registration Specialist works to address barriers, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, results-driven, and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of participants.
Responsibilities of the Registration Specialist:
* Follow up on referrals for participant-directed services.
* Assist individuals and employers with the completion of the necessary enrollment documentation.
* Educate participants on engaging with the services as their fiscal intermediary, including guidance on timesheet completion and successful self-direction.
* Identify and resolve barriers to timely enrollment and collaborate with Case Managers and service coordination entities to resolve issues.
* Conduct home visits as needed and provide person-centered, need-based program education.
* Assess participant and representative capabilities in communication and program participation.
* Guide participants through processes related to payroll, tax reporting, and vendor payments.
* Provide training on program navigation and reporting procedures, including fraud prevention.
* Maintain accurate documentation and follow policies for service records.
* Support enrollment requirements, such as background checks and verification of employer details.
* Ensure timely updates to enrollment status and assist in workforce management strategies.
Qualifications for the Registration Specialist:
* Strong background in customer service and support.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various web-based applications.
* Ability to evaluate and improve processes.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Capacity to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Fluency in another language is highly preferred.
Education Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree is preferred.
