Key Responsibilities•Print and review the provider's schedule daily•Maintain general tidiness of the waiting areas•Verify patient insurance and demographics at each appointment•Scan insurance cards and valid photo ID into the EMR•Schedule follow-up appointments for patients •Collect co-pays, surgery deposits and account balances from patients when applicable•Coordinate patient care regarding pre-operative and post-operative needs, i.e. crutch training, braces, and DME application•Scan checks into LBJI banking system •Scan End of Day paperwork; DME/ABN paperwork; Registration Payment Worksheets into appropriate e-folders or deliver paperwork to the appropriate area of the building Skills & Requirements Qualifications
