Job Description:
Role : Regular Data Analyst Location: Fully remote in Canada. Project Description: You will be a critical team member and developing the means to collect and ingest data, developing data models and data architectures, creating automated data pipelines, and taking the lead in making these Production-ready. You will assist with integrating with existing applications, and will be working with leading organizations and teams in the region. We are interested in hearing from individuals with a background in data - both SQL and non-SQL, with very strong Python scripting background. Responsibilities: You are expected to develop and conduct evaluations and studies within limited time frames and produce analyses that are easy for non-technical persons to understand Lead/coordinate the design and implementation of reports that integrate data from multiple sources, including design of reporting systems and standardization of metrics and formats across departments and functional areas Assess business risks relating to reporting design and production; develop and implement plans to mitigate risks Function as facilitator and/or mentor for data reporting projects, teams, and task forces; supply consultative advice to cross-functional analytics teams and business units regarding standard business rules and algorithms Coordinate interaction between data analysis teams and support functions including information systems, provider relations and medical management Analyze and summarize Provider data for comparative analysis using SAS, Power BI, Business Objects (BO), Tableau and Excel Adhere to documentation standards and protocols to ensure sustainability of processes, reports, and solutions Functions as facilitator and consultant to cross-functional analytics teams and business units regarding Provider business rules and data model Partner with IT teams to analyze, manage and support data quality in support of new and established operational controls. Mandatory Skills Description: Strong understanding of Data vault. Experience of analysing Data around the medical claims and offering solutions for improvement. Collation, interpretation and understanding of Key Performance Indicators associated with workforce management, specifically around workforce planning and scheduling data and offering solutions for improvement Able to demonstrate the ability to work in a team and under your own initiative Develops and maintains effective internal and external relationships Ability to engage and communicate effectively with key stakeholders Organised and able to deliver projects on own initiative to time and scope Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills be able to liaise with solution providers. Nice-to-Have Skills: Technical background. Data Engineering Background. Python or any development experience. Azure, Snowflake, AWS experience
