Job Description:

* Remain up to date on chemical laws and the hazardous goods law required for classification, in particular regulations governing the documentation and labeling as well as the safe handling of raw materials and products

* Ensures correct and timely creation, maintenance and management of the safety data sheets, as well as the labeling data in SAP EHS, for Klber products and raw materials

* Ensures that relevant material safety databases and documentation are kept up to date and that the information passed on to internal and external bodies is correct

* Ensures the correct and timely classification of Klber materials according to the hazardous material and dangerous goods report.

* FSS 7 annual review and compliance (chemical assessment, action plan and protective measures)

* Manage the Material Compliance team, as well as the Material Data Team /department and responsible for driving specific Company initiatives while aligning with organization leaders to meet and support the business needs/development

* Quality management, occupational safety and environmental protection is observed and complied with in a preventive manner and the environment, persons and material resources are not damaged

* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in chemistry or chemical engineering

* 10+ years of experience within chemical compliance or regulatory positions

* 5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, reporting to the company management team/board

* Knowledge of relevant chemical legislation (such as TSCA, PFAS, CLP / UN-GHS,..)

* Knowledge of regulatory requirements (such as EPA, DOT and TCEQ), including Foreign Trade and Tariff Code classification,

* Specialist knowledge for SDS elaboration, classifying dangerous goods, risk assessment of chemical products (raw material & finished goods), crisis management/reports.

* Proficient knowledge of SAP and EHS

* Experience in manufacturing environment specifically lubricants, chemicals, import/export finished durable goods or similar preferred
