The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will optimize regulatory reporting processes, ensuring all requirements are met in a timely, accurate and consistent manner. Areas of expertise or job scope include Multi-State Telecommunications Regulatory Compliance, Sales & Use Taxation, Insurance/Workers Compensation and Property Tax. This is a newly added role to the team with lots of opportunity for innovation and process improvements to be applied. Location:This position offers a flexible work location. With the opportunity to work hybrid- working both remotely and in the Buhler, KS office.Key Responsibilities:
- Areas of focus: Multi-State Telecommunications Regulatory Compliance, Sales & Use Taxation, Insurance/Workers Compensation, Property Tax.
- Research, review and understand current and potential telecom-related regulatory reporting requirements.
- Gather and analyze all data required for various regulatory filings, providing suggestions for efficiency and assisting with streamlining efforts.
- Prepare and file, or coordinate the completion of, all required regulatory filings with federal, state and local jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with all regulatory agencies, consultants, financial and tax auditors, as well as internal resources in legal, executive, accounting and finance departments.
- Act as primary liaison for all regulatory inquiries and data requests, including audits.
- Prepare procedures and tracking mechanisms to ensure all regulatory reports are filed accurately, timely and consistently.

RequirementsExperience/Knowledge Required:
- Bachelor's degree OR working towards a bachelors degree in- Finance, Taxation, Accounting, Law or Business Administration
- Exposure to financial accounting processes; general financial statement knowledge
- Exposure to various federal, state, local regulatory filings
- High level of expertise with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
Preferences:
- 3+ years of business regulatory exposure or accounting experience
- 2+ years Public Accounting experience (Audit or Tax)
- IT Systems configuration dexterity - Sage Intacct, CDG/MBS Billing, BNA Fixed Assets
- Telecommunications business experience / knowledge
