Regulatory Compliance Manager - Chemical IndustryWe are searching for a dedicated Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our team in the global chemical industry based in the Atlanta metropolitan area. This role is ideal for those looking to take on challenging tasks in product stewardship and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with various chemical control and product-related regulations and take charge of legislative advocacy concerning company products.   • Monitoring the development of chemical-related regulations and crafting strategic mitigation plans.
  • Developing and implementing PSRA processes and systems to ensure ongoing compliance with both new and established regulations.
  • Preparing and submitting necessary documentation to authorities to facilitate compliant product marketing in the region.
  • Assessing, documenting, and communicating the compliance status of company products to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interacting directly with relevant authorities for ongoing notification support, clarification requests, or inspection scenarios.
  • Collaborating with the Global Hazard Communication team to ensure compliance of hazard communication documents.
  • Providing guidance on regional participation in business teams, trade associations, and advocacy groups.
  • Managing and overseeing the submission of Product Stewardship Compliance Forms through the Product Steward Network.
  • Coordinating regulatory activities for multiple plant products across various locations.
  • Training business partners on regulatory requirements to ensure across-the-board business compliance.
  • Overseeing the Product Regulatory Compliance during the Management of Change processes.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance of new products through the AIMS process.Minimum Position Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, or related field.
    • 10+ years of experience in the Chemical industry.
    • 5+ years of experience in Chemical Regulatory Compliance in both US and overseas markets.
    • Strong knowledge of chemical control laws and regulations.
    • Excellent communication skills in English.Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience in the coatings/inks industry highly preferred.
      • Additional languages such as Spanish or Portuguese are beneficial.
      • Experience with FDA or other international Chemical Control Laws and Regulations.
      • Background in either organic or non-organic chemistry.Skills:
        • Expert knowledge in chemical regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
        • Proficiency in Hazard Communication Standards (Hazcom).
        • Petrochemical industry knowledge is a plus.
        • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
        • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with precision.Benefits:
