Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:
- Serve as a regulatory advisor to internal teams, overseeing compliance with FDA, USDA, and CFIA labeling standards for imported products, including translation accuracy and verification of labeling information.
- Act as the liaison between US teams and Korean headquarters to manage and maintain compliance in product labeling.
- Design, improve, and implement processes for regulatory reviews, label assessments, and compliance with marketing claims, while mentoring team members for professional growth.
- Lead the creation of accurate product labels, including Nutritional Fact Panels and ingredient statements, using Genesis software and aligning with regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and approve product marketing and sales materials to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and company policies.
- Stay updated on evolving regulations to guarantee timely updates to product ingredients, formulas, and labels.
- Develop, refine, and enforce regulatory processes, training programs, and procedural documentation.
- Maintain precise records for ingredient data and nutritional information per regulatory standards.
- Take on additional projects as assigned to support broader compliance goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in food regulatory roles.
- A minimum of 3 years in leadership or supervisory positions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of FDA, USDA, and CFIA food labeling regulations.
- Expertise in labeling processes and familiarity with Genesis software.
- Prior exposure to food product development or import/export processes is a plus.
- Bilingual fluency in Korean and English is mandatory.
