Job Description
Lead and ensure organizational compliance with federal regulations, including FAR, DFARS, CAS, and related standards. This strategic role focuses on supply chain compliance, risk mitigation, policy development, and effective management of government contracts and business systems. Collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers to uphold robust compliance processes and contribute to business success.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:
- Develop and enforce procedures aligned with FAR/DFARS, including supplier compliance requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and lead corrective action plans to mitigate compliance risks.
- Oversee compliance audits, government property management systems, and pricing/cost analysis.
- Provide expertise on contract and business system requirements across key functions (e.g., Accounting, Purchasing, IT).
- Stay current on regulatory changes, advising on implications and best practices.
Audit and Monitoring:
- Perform internal and supplier audits to ensure alignment with federal contract requirements.
- Lead reviews of government property management practices and address deficiencies.
- Support internal and external audits with comprehensive documentation and expertise.
Communication and Leadership:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance compliance processes and systems.
- Develop and deliver compliance training for staff and leadership.
- Maintain industry connections to support organizational success.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA Contract Audit Manual requirements.
- Proven experience in compliance audits, supplier evaluations, risk management, and government contracting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Accounting, or related field. Certifications such as CPCM or CFCM are a plus.
