Job Type: Part-time (25-29 hours per week, and will include 2 nights per week)

Salary Description: $15.00/hour

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and sanitize treatment room for the patients
  • Understand the uses of stationary bikes, pulley systems, exercise/medicine balls, plyometric boxes, rebounder, weight equipment, mobilization tables and benches, progressive resistive exercises as designed by the Physical Therapist
  • Prepare equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin bath, and hot packs
  • Remove and replace braces, splints, and slings from patient bodies before and after treatment
  • Assist physical therapy assistant and/or physical therapist to support patient during ambulation and gait training.
  • Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public and all members of the healthcare team
