Position Summary:

TheRehab Technicianworks both collaboratively with the therapist and independently carries out specific patient-related activities to assist in patients' rehabilitation while hospitalized. In accordance with the maintenance schedule, cleans and maintains department supplies and equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year experience as either a Patient Care Tech, CNA, Medical Assistant or similar or enrolled in a healthcare related education program.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate with all members of the healthcare team
• Able to work both independently and with a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Flexibility and adaptability to work with a broad range of patients
• Able to motivate patients to participate in their care plan
• Able to follow instructions well
• Organizational skills
• Experience with electronic health records
• Experience with safe patient handling techniques and equipment
