Rehabilitation Aide - Full Time
The Rehabilitation Aide will assist in preparation of patients for treatment under the direction of therapist(s). May be responsible for operation and maintenance of equipment. Prepares and sanitizes treatment room for the patients. Helps maintain the medical records of the client and perform various clerical duties. Greets the patients and schedules appointments. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a high school diploma or GED. Experience in healthcare setting or SNF preferred – APPLICANT MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER -

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepares, cleans, and maintains treatment areas.
• Maintains linen supplies in treatment areas.
• Follows established procedures pertaining to the care of supplies and equipment.
• Transports residents/patients to and from the Rehabilitation Department.
• Transports resident's/patient's charts, equipment, and supplies.
• Performs predetermined office procedures such as filing, scanning.
• Assembles and disassembles equipment and accessories.
• Adheres to all applicable federal, state, local and facility-maintained standards of cart and ethics and policies concerned with the practice of therapy and among other things, personnel qualifications.
• Helps with treatment of the patients as per the specific practice acts, Medicare guidelines and company policies.
• Follows established policies and procedures of the company.

• Must be able to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting patients and /or equipment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with patient, resident, and staff.
