We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Rehabilitation Director to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of care._*\*\*Position Overview:\*\**_The Rehabilitation Director will oversee all aspects of rehabilitation services within the facility, utilizing the Rehab Optima software to monitor care delivery, manage clinical services, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality improvement, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.\*\*Key Responsibilities:\*\*- \*\*Clinical Management:\*\*Utilize Rehab Optima software to effectively monitor care delivery, manage clinical services, and maintain compliance with CMS guidelines, including monitoring the Part B Therapy Cap and conducting mandatory manual reviews.- \*\*Staff Training and Development:\*\*Lead the orientation and training of rehabilitation personnel, ensuring the completion of skills competency checklists for all staff. Provide ongoing education and resources to enhance staff performance.- \*\*Quality Assurance:\*\*Supervise rehabilitation clinical and support staff, conducting monthly quality assurance reviews and chart audits. Address deficiencies and implement progressive discipline plans as necessary.- \*\*Program Evaluation:\*\*Conduct quarterly program evaluations to identify areas for improvement, collect evaluation data, and develop action plans for non-conforming areas.- \*\*Reporting and Analysis:\*\*Prepare and analyze reports including Daily RCF, Weekly Snapshots, and LTC Logs. Run management reports in Rehab Optima to assess therapist productivity, RUG utilization, and functional outcome measures.- \*\*Facility Integration:\*\*Facilitate the integration of rehabilitation services within the facility, including communication with the facility administrator and program development activities.- \*\*Marketing and Outreach:\*\*Assist in the facility's marketing plan by conducting referral rehabilitation screenings, providing program evaluation information for marketing materials, and recommending new rehabilitation programs based on market analysis.- \*\*Direct Patient Care:\*\*Depending on the facility's volume, the Rehabilitation Director may provide direct patient care in accordance with established productivity standards.- \*\*Management Responsibilities:\*\*Perform management activities including interviewing, hiring, orienting, evaluating, and terminating department staff members.- \*\*Compliance Documentation:\*\*Prepare therapy documentation for audit requests, including OMIG, ADRs, and third-party compliance reviews.- \*\*Additional Duties:\*\*Perform other duties as assigned by the facility.\*\*Qualifications:\*\*- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology)- Current licensure and certification as required by the discipline- Proven experience in a rehabilitation management role- Strong organizational and leadership skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environmentINDSNJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* 8 hour shift* HolidaysLicense/Certification:* Physical Therapy License; Occupational Therapy License (Required)Work Location: In person
