**The community you'll be caring for:** AdventHealth Waterman - 1000 WATERMAN WAY, Tavares, 32778

**The role you'll contribute:** Supports rehab therapy care delivery by preparing and assisting in treatment area, patients, equipment, and materials.

**The value you'll bring to the team:**

Anticipates needs and assists staff with patient care, treatment and other tasks by correctly and promptly carrying out assigned activities/duties. Ensures patient and staff safety by recognizing situations which place patient or staff at risk and responds appropriately

Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols

Maintains safe and clean working environments, Ensures supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained, while adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations

Performs therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a licensed therapist

Communicate appropriately and effectively with patients, family and health care professionals within and across care settings and communities

Attends department meetings and education as required

As requested perform clerical duties, such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephone, taking messages, and filling out forms

Willingly adjusts and adapts to changes in workload by altering working hours to assist in other areas/centers/programs as approved and observed by supervisor/manager.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

**The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:**

**REQUIRED:**

High School Grad or Equivalent 0 years' experience

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert

Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English.
