- Adheres to all hospital policies regarding the handling of cash
- Balance the cash drawer daily
- Prepares the daily Accounting Journal and balances to the deposit
- Accepts patient payments over the phone
- Accepts on-site patient payments
- Processes all in-coming mail correspondence from payers or patient's
- Forwards patient concerns to supervisor
- Maintains a neat and orderly desk at all times since the public has full access to the Cashier's workstation
- Assist Benefit Advisors as needed
