SVP, Relationship Manager - Embedded Payments

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking an SVP, Relationship Manager - Embedded Payments for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

  • The SVP, Relationship Manager - Embedded Payments will foster working relationship with other members of the Payments Technology Banking team to support new and existing client relationships.
  • Maximize portfolio profitability through appropriate pricing and cross-selling of the bank's products and services, including complex treasury management services (ACH, Disbursement Services, Information Reporting, Card Sponsorship Programs).
  • Collaborate with risk management, credit administration, and compliance partners to develop client relationships relevant to Payments Technology Banking.
  • Complete financial analysis, the underwriting and closing of new opportunities.
  • Support new business initiatives through completion of new and existing client ACH limit and credit memos.
  • Work with team members to develop a strong referral and COI network to enhance the bank's reputation in the marketplace.
  • Support the bank's strong relationship banking culture through on-going customer contact, call reports, quality customer service and superior product knowledge.
  • Monitor client portfolios to evaluate financial, operational and compliance status.
  • Ensure client's financial and compliance requirements are received and reviewed in a timely manner.
  • Support new client implementation requirements and coordinate with internal teams as required.
  • The SVP, Relationship Manager - Embedded Payments will develop and maintain strong relationships with decision makers at targeted companies (CEO, CFO, VP Finance).
  • Perform industry analysis and participate in relevant industry related events.
  • Participate in client calls with Senior Banker and Treasury Services Officer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or other related field.
  • 7-10 years of commercial banking, financial services, or Fintech company experience.
  • Banking experience is required and/or sales experience in banking.
  • Formal bank credit or risk management training experience is a plus.
  • Experience in a portfolio management, treasury services, risk management, auditing, or underwriting role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting concepts to evaluate financial models, client audits and risks.
  • Knowledge in financial statement analysis and understanding of client cash flow cycle.
  • Sound credit and risk management judgment.
  • Strong excel skills with complimenting mathematical and pricing and financial analysis.
  • Thorough knowledge of Corporate Treasury Services and its application to the Payments & Fintech industries.
  • Commercial Credit Underwriting and Risk Management.
  • Understanding of Operating and Financial Risk Management.
