Operating as one of the world's largest energy delivery systems across clean energy, electric, gas and steam services.Looking for a Relay Protection Engineering to join the Distribution Engineering team within Electric Operations.Core Responsibilities:Evaluate the design and operation of Unit Substation Protection equipment, settings and schemesGather all relevant data for Unit Substation Protection specifications, settings and design drawings draftingGather all relevant data for Appropriation Funding Documentation RequestsGather all relevant data for White Paper Project and Program RequestsRepresent the department and the group at meetings and site visits as required during normal and emergency conditionsUse technical knowledge and competence to develop Unit Substation Protection design improvementsIdentify cost-saving opportunities related to testing, maintenance and operation Unit Substation Protection equipmentWrite, revise, and update department's specifications and documentsIdentify areas to improve the performance and increase efficiency of Unit Substation Protection equipmentMake technical and economic studies to determine the best design features of Unit Substation Protection equipmentWork with internal and external customers including Electric Operation crews, Supply Chain, EH&S, Engineering groups, vendors, manufacturers and support staff and various levels of managementPerform other tasks and assignments as requiredWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
