Relay Technician
: Job Details :

Perform technical services in the operation, construction, and maintenance of relay and control protection systems in transmission facilities, distribution substations, generating plants, and any other facility associated with protection and control of equipment.Duties and responsibilities:- Bypass, isolate, and restore to service all substation equipment.- Perform electrical testing, calibration, and repairs many types of protection system equipment.- Troubleshoot and repairs wiring on all existing and new breaker stations and tests to ensure wiring is correct.- Install, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot protection systems which may include distribution SCADA and communication systems.- Program relays for installation.- Maintain protection system component asset database.- Perform other duties as assigned.Education:Associate degree in a related area or equivalent formal electronics technical training required.Experience:Three (3) years' experience with electronic components and electrical related applications.Full benefits, company vehicle, FSA
