About the Role

Job Purpose:

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for reviewing machine reliability and improving metrics such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). This role involves enhancing Preventive Maintenance Work Instructions and supporting continuous improvement efforts in both maintenance and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct reliability analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to determine underlying issues.
  • Review and enhance preventive maintenance work instructions and their frequency.
  • Support the implementation and expansion of predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Measure and evaluate MTBF and MTTR to track performance.
  • Assist with documentation for capital projects.
  • Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • Strong ability to interpret, analyze, and present technical information with practical judgment.
    • Effective team player with the capability to work independently on initiatives.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in delivering presentations in both group settings and one-on-one.
    • Knowledgeable in data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis.
    • Skilled in conducting data analysis and using relevant software applications.
    • Familiarity with standard quality and reliability tools such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Weibull Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and statistical methods.

    Compensation Data

    The typical hiring range for this role is $73,758 to $108,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
