Reliability Engineer

The Engineer, Reliability Engineering is responsible for generating product reliability requirements and metrics, decomposing these requirements to component levels, and estimating system reliability through modeling. This role involves identifying high-risk components and performing Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) to minimize risks. The engineer will facilitate Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and lead Relentless Root Cause Analysis (RRCA). They will develop standard work practices to incorporate reliability into product development processes. Additionally, the engineer will work with Business Development and Engineering to establish key reliability metrics for new products. They will also perform Life Data Analysis, Block Diagram builds, and Reliability Growth Analysis. The role requires strong analytical skills to address and solve issues encountered. Finally, the engineer will generate reports on reliability performance for management.

Contract to hire opportunity

Pay Range: $35-55/hr

Must-Have

• BS degree in Engineering with 4-7+ years of experience.
• Full knowledge of reliability engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with reliability software such as Reliasoft.
• Strong analytical and experimental skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Preventive/Predictive Maintenance strategies.
• Ability to perform Life Data Analysis and Reliability Growth Analysis.
