Reliability SpecialistThe role of the Reliability Specialist is to improve workforce productivity and work quality of the Maintenance Team by continuously updating PMs, auditing completed work, and providing supplemental training and coaching with the purpose of eliminating equipment breakdowns. Supports Rex Lumber values and integrity in all plant activities.Essential Functions:Planning:* Update PMs based on equipment history, modifications, and best practices. Leverages data collection systems (DGS) to prioritize work and find areas of focus.* Communicate and coordinate with millwright jobs to ensure work is assigned to those with adequate skills* Support the Maintenance Planner as needed (scheduling duties, planning work orders)Recording:* Ensure work order feedback (comments, suggestions, etc.) is captured in the electronic record keeping system (Infor EAM). This includes millwrights accounting for follow-up work properly (linking CMPM work to the originating work order, charging parts out correctly, etc.).* Ensure PMs and WOs are executed safely and with appropriate quality as part of the work order audit process* Follow up with millwrights on work assigned to understand any areas of improvementRCAs:* Serve as the default RCA champion (coordinating RCA activities, running review meetings, etc.)* Provides the Maintenance Manager with a written list of RCAs and their statusAdditional Duties:* Perform frequent on-the-job inspections to ensure safe working habits, safe work areas, quality of workmanship, effectiveness of maintenance and repairs* Works closely with Maintenance Manager to ensure work is completed with quality and safety* Attend daily Schedule Meetings to assist with maintenance support* Assist with daily operational support as needed when the Maintenance Planner is unavailable* Data entry of information for CMMSJob Type: Full Time (45+hours)Monday - Friday with an Occasional SaturdayCOMPANY BENEFITSWe are excited about your interest in a lumber manufacturing career.
