Title: Remediation Project Manager Location: Seattle, WA Job Type: Regular Full-time What's the Opportunity? Anchor QEA is seeking a full-time, project manager focused on the remediation of contaminated properties. We are interested in a candidate that has the capacity to grow, is a quick learner, is detail-orientated, is a committed team player, and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. This position will manage and support projects involving the investigation and remediation of upland industrial properties. Typical project locations will be based in the Pacific Northwest, but assignments may also include work on projects nationwide. Successful candidates will have an opportunity to work on a variety of tasks of differing complexities, both independently and in team environments, learn directly from leaders in the industry, and provide mentoring to our junior staff. Responsibilities: Project and task management, including team assignments and coordination, client interaction, and production of deliverables Reviewing and preparing remedy design documents and supporting deliverables, including remedial investigation and feasibility study reports. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of environmental data Mentoring and training of junior staff What Are We Looking For? Ideal candidates will have the following: Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental studies, or other closely related degree 8 to 15 years of environmental consulting experience Experience as a project manager at environmental remediation sites involving contaminated media including soil, sediments, and groundwater Experience conducting site investigations/characterizations, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, engineering evaluations, and remedial designs/actions Experience identifying and resolving key issues impacting remedy implementation (technical, regulatory, risk, stakeholder, land use, etc.) and emerging issues Experience with leading a team in implementing site closure strategy and effectively managing change over time Experience as a liaison or point of contact communicating effectivity between contractors, team members, regulatory agencies, property owners, other consultants, and clients Related professional certification (or the ability to obtain and maintain), including but not limited to, Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, Professional Geologist (PG) license, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Ability to think on multiple levels while gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing all relevant data to make sound recommendations What Can You Expect?
