About the job Remote Administrative Assistant The Administrative Assistant 1, under the supervision of the Park Manager, is responsible for performing a variety of administrative, clerical, and visitor services that are carried out with a great deal of independence. Responsibilities include the preparing of purchasing documents and research of budgets, while comprising expenditures of previous years, opening bids, and preparing a proposed budget. The person must be able to implement the Department and Bureau policies and procedures relating to the budget and fiscal, personnel, and purchasing and procurement. The employee must show judgment and discretion due to access to confidential and sensitive data. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- The employee in this position may be required to occasionally work weekends, holidays, or varying shifts as operational needs dictate.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
