Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, personal injury claims, employment litigation, and contract disputes.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts to advocate for our clients' interests.
- Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on legal matters related to civil litigation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
- 4+ years of experience practicing civil litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
Job Description: Insurance Coverage Attorney (REMOTE)
Position: Insurance Coverage Attorney
Location: Fully Remote (California)
Experience: 4+ years of insurance coverage
Billable Hours: 1850
Responsibilities:
- Analyze insurance policies and coverage issues to provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
- Evaluate claims and coverage disputes, conduct legal research, and draft coverage opinions and coverage position letters.
- Represent clients in coverage litigation, including declaratory judgment actions, arbitration proceedings, and other disputes involving insurance coverage issues.
- Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions on behalf of clients.
- Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on risk management and insurance-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
- 4+ years of experience practicing insurance coverage law, preferably in a law firm setting.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance law and regulations, including California insurance statutes and case law.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
