Position: Civil Litigation Attorney

Location: Fully Remote (California)

Experience: 4+ years of civil litigation

Billable Hours: 1850

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, personal injury claims, employment litigation, and contract disputes.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts to advocate for our clients' interests.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on legal matters related to civil litigation.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
  • 4+ years of experience practicing civil litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills.

Job Description: Insurance Coverage Attorney (REMOTE)

Position: Insurance Coverage Attorney

Location: Fully Remote (California)

Experience: 4+ years of insurance coverage

Billable Hours: 1850

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze insurance policies and coverage issues to provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
  • Evaluate claims and coverage disputes, conduct legal research, and draft coverage opinions and coverage position letters.
  • Represent clients in coverage litigation, including declaratory judgment actions, arbitration proceedings, and other disputes involving insurance coverage issues.
  • Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions on behalf of clients.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on risk management and insurance-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
  • 4+ years of experience practicing insurance coverage law, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance law and regulations, including California insurance statutes and case law.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
