HR Works' HR Administration Services team is recruiting a part-time
Benefits and Leave Coordinator to work based out of our Fairport, NY location. This is a largely remote opportunity, with occasional need to report into the office. This role requires availability until 7 pmEST, Monday through Friday, with ideal working hours from 3 pm - 7 pm.Compensation range: $23.00-$28.00
Job Summary:The Benefits and Leave Coordinator is responsible for providing benefits and leave administration services for designated clients, in partnership with an HR Works Benefits and Leave Administrator. The Benefits and Leave Coordinator will cover extended hours on the call center queue, responding to inquiries from employees of HR Works' clients throughout the United States. Inquiries include benefits and leave questions and escalations regarding FMLA, paid family leave, state-specific leaves, company-specific leaves and/or benefits, COBRA, and claims status. Additionally, the Benefits and Leave Coordinator will complete benefits and leave administration paperwork on behalf of HR Works' clients, including generating and sending leave packages.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE- A minimum of 3 years of strong benefits and leave administration experience is required; multi-state experience is a strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of HRIS experience (ADP, Workday, Paychex, Paylocity, Paycom, Ceridian, UKG) is required.
- Call center experience is preferred.
- The ability to report to the Rochester, NY office for the training period and periodically for meetings and team-building activities is required.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business or related field, or associate degree with commensurate experience required.
