- Medicare Member Services Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our Medicare members. You will address inquiries, resolve issues, and offer guidance on benefits, coverage, and services, ensuring a positive experience for our members.
- Pay: 18.00/hr - 19.00/hr
- Shift: Monday - Sunday (weekdays and weekends), 8-5 for training then 8-8 shift
Job Requirements:
- 2 years previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting. Experience with Medicare plans and regulations is highly desirable.Must have CPR Certification
- Prior experience in a call center environment is preferred
Job Description:
- Recognize and understand Insurance Plan Types: Commercial, Individual Products, HIX, Government Plans (Medicaid/Medicare)
- Common insurance terminology and procedures
- Receive member inquires via inbound calls
- Make outbound calls to members, vendors and other departments
- Follow Call Flow process for member calls
- Understand and apply protocol for using language line. '
- Locate, interpret and quote benefit information including covered/excluded benefits, deductibles, MOOP, member out of pocket costs.
- Be familiar with different plan documents and how to quickly locate and quote from them.
