Job Title: Design Program Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Design Program Manager with at least 5 years of experience to oversee cross-functional design and creative operations projects, ensuring the successful execution of design initiatives. The Design Program Manager will develop project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. This position requires a strong understanding of design principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive efficiency in both design processes and creative operations. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in project management, design methodologies, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the design program lifecycle from concept to execution.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project timelines and resource allocation.
- Facilitate communication across teams to ensure alignment and timely project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to leadership.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the design team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Design, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in design project management or a related role.
- Strong understanding of design processes and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Confluence, JIRA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
- Familiarity with design software (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
Compensation: $70.00-80.00/HR
