Job Title: Remote Civil Litigation Attorney
Location: Remote (California); preference for candidates licensed in Utah and California
Overview: We are seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney to join our client's team remotely. The ideal candidate will have experience in general civil litigation, employment litigation (representing employers), property cases involving property disputes, business disputes, and investment disputes. This position requires a seasoned professional capable of independently handling all aspects of litigation, including drafting discoveries and motions, conducting depositions, and participating in hearings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex civil litigation matters.
- Draft and review legal documents, including discoveries, motions, pleadings, and briefs.
- Manage all phases of litigation from inception to resolution.
- Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and mediations.
- Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of California.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on the areas mentioned.
- Proven ability to independently handle cases and manage client relationships.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Proficiency in legal technology and software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in employment law representing employers.
- Background in property law and business litigation.
- Licensed in Utah and open to relocate (Not necessary)
