RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary responsibility includes supervision of mid-level providers including APRNs, PMHNPs, and PAs to satisfy state of Tennessee supervision requirements for collaborating physician - mid-level provider (s).
- Option to see addiction medicine patients primarily for opioid use disorder remotely.
- If board certified in psychiatry, option to do remote mental health evaluations.
- One monthly in-person visit to the facility required.
- Collaborates and maintains effective relationships with other care providers in the community as appropriate.
- Ensures clinical care and supervision delivered is consistent with evidence-based guidelines.
- Professional liability (Malpractice) insurance provided by the facility.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Tennessee Medical License
- Active TN DEA certificate
- Tennessee driver s license (Tennessee Resident)
PREFERRED:
- Board Certification in Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine
- Addiction medicine experience
- Resides in Middle Tennessee
- Willingness to obtain other state licenses at expense of facility
