Principal Consultant - PFAS Investigation/RemediationLocation: 100% Remote or in office if preferred (multiple offices across USA)Position OverviewWe are looking for a Principal Consultant to lead business development & project management efforts in Site Solutions, particularly focusing on PFAS investigation and remediation. The ideal candidate will have a strong client portfolio, experience managing consulting projects, and a collaborative approach to working in multidisciplinary teams. You will leverage your technical expertise to drive business, mentor staff, and work with agencies and organizations to develop risk-based solutions.Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities.
  • Ability to generate revenue to support themselves
  • Manage projects, client relationships, and regulatory engagements.
  • Showcase thought leadership through presentations, webinars, client alerts, and participation in professional and trade group meetings.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues across business units.
  • Mentor staff and promote professional development.
  • Other duties as needed

  • Expert services for the legal sector (e.g., litigation support).
  • Site investigation and remediation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on PFAS investigation and remediation.
  • Strong knowledge of PFAS, their environmental impacts, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven experience in project management and business development within the environmental sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment, ecological assessments, and site remediation processes.
