Job Overview: The Senior Human Resources Manager, on behalf of our client, will lead the HR function, ensuring the implementation of effective HR strategies and initiatives that align with organizational goals. This role involves managing employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, and compensation strategies. The position is based in Belle Chasse, LA. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to the PEP leadership and HR teams.
- Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote open communication to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems in collaboration with MCG, providing support to managers and employees.
- Identify training needs, develop programs, and coordinate training sessions to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and HR best practices.
- Develop and manage competitive compensation strategies, including base and incentive pay programs, to attract and retain top talent.
- Collaborate with the safety team to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics, preparing and presenting reports to leadership.
- Analyze existing processes and policies, identify gaps, and lead resolution projects to ensure consistency and fairness.
- Oversee the company's drug and alcohol program, ensuring compliance with regulations, including DOT requirements.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners to oversee the company's talent acquisition strategy.
Requirements Include: Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Certifications:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional Information: Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Office setting with frequent visits to the production floor.

- May require workweeks exceeding 40 hours, including weekends or holidays, based on project requirements.
Travel Requirements:
- Bi-weekly travel to Bay St. Louis, MS.
