Job Description:

Reporting to the Chairman/CEO, the Sales Executive will fulfill a variety of responsibilities primarily into markets within North America. This will involve the identification of sales opportunities, marketing opportunities, market development, identifying key competitors and trends within target market segments. The role will also involve elevating the company name in identified markets and regions and being responsible for the delivery of agreed sales targets and market objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Help in creating a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement by Identifying key value propositions and market advantages that our products and solutions may have in these markets, and help preparing strategic plans as to how to best maximize these advantages. Define sales targets, dates and closing processes to meet defined sales targets Understand key competitors, distributors, and possible partners (both Manufacturing and Distribution and Servicing) in key market segments to maximize the possibilities of sales, marketing and strategic positioning. Participate in the developments of plans and strategies for increasing business and achieving the companys sales goals in existing and new geographical regions and market segments Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required Help in the preparation of detailed and accurate sales forecasting Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions, create, update and maintain these records within the Pipedrive CRM system Have a good and broad understanding of The Business Case proposition, to help the prospect client understand the value of the sale. Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships and any other activities that may be identified as being integral to the success of the company Participate when required to Industry function such as Trade shows, conventions, special events, etc. Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction Provide support to vendor/sub-contractor relationship management. Support the design, costing and proposal process on projects for presentation to potential clients. Provide input for product improvements, reliability and safety. - Experience selling similar products or equipment - Experience in a leadership role - 3-5 years of experience selling heavy machinery or large equipment - Experience sourcing and identifying new markets/companies to sell products to - Ability to travel to client sites across the country and Canada (50%+) - Experience within manufacturing or distribution industries
