The SrNetwork Security Engineer II is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network security systems to ensure a stable and secure IT infrastructureThis role involves leading the development of security standards, overseeing the administration of security equipment, and troubleshooting network issuesThe engineer will manage network security hardware and software, perform system audits, and lead disaster recovery planningKey technologies include Palo Alto Firewalls, GlobalProtect, Panorama, virtualization tools, and various networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, etc.)This position requires extensive hands-on experience in network security, with strong knowledge of both Microsoft and Linux-based systemsThe engineer will work closely with teams to make critical technical decisions, perform seamless upgrades, and ensure compliance with industry standardsAdditionally, the role demands strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills to lead security initiatives and collaborate across departments and with external vendorsKey Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain network security hardware and softwareLead the development of security standards for all network-related equipmentOversee network security system administration, deployment, and troubleshootingConduct project planning, cost analysis, and vendor evaluationsPerform system audits, upgrades, and disaster recovery planningKey Skills Needed: Expertise in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS , Palo Alto Firewalls, Global Protect, PanoramaStrong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPN, SDWAN)Experience with IT infrastructure (Active Directory, virtualization, security systems)Familiarity with Linux and Microsoft server operating systemsProficiency in tools like Citrix Load Balancers, Splunk, SolarWinds, Cisco IOS, WiresharkKnowledge in disaster recovery , system logs analysis, and security equipment installationCertifications such as PCNSE, PCCSE, PCSAE are a plusRemote role!
