Tax ManagerPosition OverviewThe Tax Manager will oversee and manage the tax compliance and planning activities for our clients, ensuring accurate and timely submission of tax returns while providing strategic tax advice. This role involves leading a team of tax professionals and collaborating with clients to develop tax-efficient strategies, especially for high-net-worth individuals and specific industries such as real estate and dental.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review the preparation of federal and state tax returns, including 1040, 1120, and 1120S forms.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and guidance on tax compliance and best practices.
- Conduct research on tax law changes and assess their impact on clients' tax positions.
- Prepare and present tax projections and strategies to clients, ensuring understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and tax compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Proven experience with tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
