We are currently seeking an accomplished sales manager to join our client's growing team. Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with shippers and carriers, becoming a trusted partner in their freight transport needs.
- Collaborate with Operations and Carrier teams to ensure complete load visibility
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential growth areas
- Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations to key decision-makers
- Generate and follow up on leads, cold calls, and referrals
- Negotiate contracts
- Develop sales strategies to meet monthly sales goals
- Analyze and interpret data
Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Outside Sales in the transportation and logistics industry
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to think on your feet
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive market
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
