ABOUT CENTRAL FLORIDA KIDNEY CENTERS:
Central Florida Kidney Centers, Inc is a not-for-profit dialysis organization that has served the dialysis community for 50 years- with seven clinics in the Central Florida area. We are committed to providing unrivaled dialysis care to improve the quality of life for those with End-Stage Renal Disease.
THE POSITION:
As a Renal Registered Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for overall management of the patient & family regarding dialysis diet and Mineral & Bone Disease interventions.
* Manages Mineral & Bone Disorder program for assigned facility, follows protocols, processes orders, and schedules appropriate related lab orders in EMR with Administrative Assistants.
* Participates in developing interdisciplinary Long-Term and Short-Term Care Plans for each patient.
* Collects and documents pertinent nutrition information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System
* Evaluates and monitors patients for necessary supplemental nutrition and prepares necessary forms (certificate of medical necessity, prescriptions, prior authorizations)
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics
* Current State of Florida Department of Health Registered Dietitian Licensure
* Attains the required 30 hour biannual requirement for continuing education.
* Dialysis Experience Preferred
