The Renewable Energy intern will join our team of professionals in our MC2 Renewable Energy Services division. This team is responsible for technical review and project execution of new renewable energy projects as well as monitoring and maintaining our existing client's fleet of solar and battery storage installations.

Pay Range: $18 per hour. 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Research new trends in technology, materials, manufacturing, construction, and supply chain.
  • Participate in diligence of new deals, which includes monitoring activity for construction projects, technology reviews, etc.
  • Support our renewable projects by aiding in data analysis, job site inspections and reporting.
  • Assist with the resolution of technical issues within the company's portfolio of energy projects including reviewing root cause analysis, review of incident reports, mining operational data, developing project site and maintenance reports, supporting project management, etc.

Through this position, candidates will be exposed to solar and energy storage projects. Candidates will also be directly exposed to operations, equipment manufacturing, construction, project management, and site maintenance. Candidates will see infrastructure projects developed, selected, financed, constructed, operated and asset managed.

Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering
  • Demonstrates interest in and familiarity with energy industry and technologies
  • Curiosity with interconnection between energy, politics & financial markets
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, and drive
  • Prior internships / working experience
  • High self-confidence
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, takes initiative
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel as needed
