Location: Remote, East Coast

The Renewals Manager role is an integral part of Productboard success to ensure Productboard customers continue to see the value and benefit from their investment. Your primary focus will be managing a high volume of SMB customer renewals to maximize retention, identify expansion opportunities, and drive a high degree of customer satisfaction. This role works closely with our Customer Success Coaches and reports directly to the Manager of Scaled Customer Success.

On a typical day, you will

* Own and execute a book of business of SMB renewals to maximize retention and growth

* Actively engage with key decision-makers to identify customer requirements and lead negotiation with the customer, overcoming objections to renewal

* Develop email sequences to engage customers at scale to identify risk, uncover opportunities

* Use data to craft a value story to communicate how Productboard is impacting our customer's business

* Identify at-risk customers and develop prescriptive plays that would mitigate against this potential churn

* Communicate risk clearly in our systems, and work closely with your Customer Coach partner to mitigate

* Discover and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities at renewal to maximize customer growth, working collaboratively with your Account Executive partner in the process

* Drive operational efficiencies with new processes and scalable systems to engage hundreds of renewals in an effective manner

* Maintain and report an accurate rolling 90-day forecast of renewals

* Keep up to date records of renewals and create renewal contracts

* Collaborate with Finance, Support, Legal around renewal logistics and bringing a customer to successful renewal

About you:

* 2-3 years of experience in SaaS renewals management or Sales

* Experience with forecasting and owning a commercial renewal or quota based target

* Experience with mid-market/SMB renewals is a plus

* A value 1st approach to working with customers to craft a clear value centered narrative about how Productboard is helping their business

* Experience in discovery, negotiation, and closing skills

* Experience building email campaigns through tools such as Outreach a plus

* Ability to connect the dots organizationally and influence stakeholders from various roles, levels, and profiles to drive collaboration and program excellence

* Operationally focused with an ability to create more efficient processes, systems and programs

* Proficiency with Salesforce
