**Renovations District Manager**

Our new Redfin Home Services team brings a higher level of convenience and certainty to the home selling and buying process. As a Home Services District Manager, you will be in charge of leading all construction, renovation and sales for an entire District.

As a District Manager for Redfin Home Services, you will lead a team of Home Service Managers, covering multiple Redfin markets, ensuring a consistent customer experience, quality product delivery and exceptional customer service. This role will report to the Director of Home Services Field Operations.

**The Role:**

+ Lead, hire, and train an exceptional Home Services team.

+ Mentor and develop a team of competitive, high performing team of Home Services Market Managers.

+ Responsible for championing the Redfin culture and instilling Redfin values and mission .

+ Guides and mentors Home service Managers to effectively manage their day to day operations day-to-day operations to deliver high-quality renovations at an optimal cost and speed.

+ Ensures the consistency of the customer experience and quality of renovation in all the markets they manage.

+ 50% of the role is derived from field auditing and walking with Home Services Managers, Superintendents, Concierges and subcontractors assessing quality, internal capabilities, ensuring safety and policy compliance.

+ Significant review of reporting provided by the analytics team to identify and lack of adherence to timelines and budget. Intended to proactively manage by exception, identify problems before they have occurred or before they have become out of control and take action to stabilize.

+ Analyze key metrics to identify and drive continuous improvement. Dig into budget or timeline overruns to identify and fix root causes.

+ Review and approve high dollar and complex renovation budgets and timelines.

+ Work closely with each Home Services Market Manager to source, vet local trades to execute renovations quickly, efficiently and with high quality.

+ P & L responsibility for the District managed.

+ Ability to analyze P & L statements, identifying revenue growth opportunities and potential cost savings and convert them to actionable plans.

+ Takes this information and implements real change in the field working closely with the HSMM to expand what is good and rectify struggling areas.

+ Works with the Director of Field Operations to improve policies and procedures.

+ Handles Escalated Customer Service situations.**Skills and Experience:**

+ 10+ years in home renovation, home construction, or related field

+ 5+ years managing employees, preferably at a large organization

+ Strong computer skills and a willingness to learn new software

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Enthusiasm for working as part of a team to grow this new business and develop new systems and technology

+ Network of trusted trades in the geographic footprint of the district to be covered is a plus

+ Must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time.**What We Offer:**
