Galpin Motors is looking for a Rental Agent for our Rent-A-Car located in the heart of beautiful North Hills Ca, 91343.

(Note, this physical location for this position is at 15505 Roscoe Blvd, North Hills, CA 91343 out of Galpin Ford Service)

We are looking for a Rental Agent who will assist customers at our Ford Service location through the rental/loaner car process, and help maintain our loaner car inventory.

Some of What You'll do:

* Assist customers through the entire rental/loaner process

* Provide a positive customer experience with friendly and courteous customer service

* Resolve customer issues, and answer questions via phone, email or in person customer contact

* Complete physical inventory audits of vehicles; Ensure quality control of vehicle condition.

* Complete photo condition reports on each rental/loaner transaction; Perform a Daily Business Report

* Work in coordination with team members and excel in a fast paced environment

* Dispatch and track vehicles for PM services, repairs, and body shop.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

* Knowledge of California Rental Laws, preferred

* 2-5 years experience as a Cashier, Front Office Representative, or similar role

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred

* Proficient Computer Skills; additional certification in Office Management is a plus

* Ability to work as a team and/or independently

* Excellent organizational skills

* Strong problem solving and follow up skills

* Detail oriented and possesses high integrity

* Ability to undergo and pass preliminary Background Check and Drug Screen

* Authorization to work in the US

Physical Requirements:

* Full of range of motion in the fingers with ability to type on computer
