Job Description:

C & B Material Handling, LLC (part of the C & B Equipment family), a leader and supplier of choice in material handling equipment, automation solutions, and industrial equipment rental, is seeking a dedicated and organized Rental Coordinator for our location in Hiawatha, Iowa. The ideal candidate will assist in rental operations, ensuring smooth communication between departments, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This role involves handling phone calls, managing rental processes, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). Essential Duties:

  • Assist in answering phone calls from customers and personnel.
  • Complete rental processes for this branch including quoting, coordinating deliveries/pickups, customer billing and track rental inventory.
  • Prepare and manage rental agreements with customers.
  • Assist in collection calls on past-due rental invoices as needed.
  • Keep communication between departments on completed tasks and status updates on equipment.
  • Monitor and measure KPIs for utilization, fleet rightsizing, and dormancy.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a rental or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example – sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
