As a Rental Operations Specialist (ROS), you will support BearCom's Rental Branches across North America by providing crucial behind-the-scenes assistance for temporary wireless communication solutions. This includes supporting high-profile events, such as sporting events, music festivals, and conventions. Working within a fast-paced environment, the ROS must be able to multi-task, think quickly, and respond rapidly to meet branch and customer needs.Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of BearCom's rental business processes and procedures for wireless communications equipment, including two-way radios, cellular push-to-talk products, video surveillance equipment, and private LTE.
- Troubleshoot problems and support BearCom branch offices across the U.S. and Canada.
- Receive and process incoming working and broken equipment at the Operations Center, keeping inventory and work areas clean and organized.
- Operate effectively within a team and independently as needed.
- Multitask and manage time-sensitive requests from branches and customers.
- Use computer software to program rental equipment and manage inventory assets.
- Ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures across branch offices.
- Conduct physical equipment inventories and maintain incoming/outgoing equipment.
- Ship equipment accurately using FedEx software to designated locations.
- Be available for on-call or after-hours work when supporting large events, with advance notice provided.
- Resolve any conflicts or issues in accordance with BearCom policies.
- Communicate effectively at all levels within the organization, promoting BearCom values and culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook; JDE/CRM experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing 10 to 60 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Successful completion of a drug screening, background check, and Motor Vehicle Record check.
