What We're Looking For:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Repack Production Manager to support our Production operations and contribute to our continued growth. The Repack Production Manager will report to the Plant Manager and support operations at our Ellensburg, WA plant.The ideal candidate must have knowledge of packaging capabilities/volumes and a background in IQF packaging, warehousing, shipping, and DOT regulations. Required Education, Certification and Qualifications
  • High School education required. Associates or BS degree preferred.
  • Certification in Food Safety and/or Production Management is a plus.
  • Certification in Food Safety (e.g., HACCP, PCQI, BRC).
  • OSHA 24 Hr. Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry involving production scheduling
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
  • Minimum of five years' experience in manufacturing industry involving production scheduling. Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in the food industry or similar manufacturing environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Must possess knowledge of packaging capabilities/volumes and a background in IQF packaging, warehousing, shipping, and DOT regulations.
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Access. Knowledge & use of the Internet. Ability and experience in use of office equipment, including calculator, fax, copier, scanner, printer, shredder, etc.... Working knowledge of Infor (ERP) system preferred.
  • Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, correspondences, and procedure manuals. Ability to present information and respond to questions from corporate, managers, clients, and customers.
  • Math and Reasoning Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. GL reconciliation as assigned.
  • Process and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll and inventory management.
  • Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights for decision-making.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Assists with audits, including the preparation of supporting documentation and liaison with external auditors.
  • This position will need to process purchase orders, purchase order receipts and process vendor invoices.
  • Provide support to operations in analysis of potential capex.
  • Assist with month end/year end close.
  • Process new vendor requests for setup in ERP.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including production, procurement, and sales, to gather and analyze financial information.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency.
  • Other special projects and/or duties as assigned.
Essential Physical Abilities:The employee must be able to perform all the essential requirements of the job. Ability to sit/stand/walk throughout the 8-hour day and longer hours, when required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close and Distance vision. Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. Ability to use and handle objects weighing up to 40 lbs. Occasionally required to visit other locations to observe warehouse/outside storage facilities.*Selected employee will be required to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen and E-Verify*Benefits of a Repack Production Manager
  • Competitive Wages, range $80,000-$85,000 per year
