Job Description:
SummaryA Repair Center Clerk has strong analytical skills and a passion for problem solving, backed by excellent Microsoft Office skills. The primary responsibilities are to manage our RMA program and inventory, to research and resolve customer concerns, to utilize our databases to provide detailed reporting on our products and our repair workload.Responsibilities
  • Provide customers with assistance and training as part of the customer service group.
  • Process outgoing advance-shipped replacements and incoming RMA cores.
  • Research customer issues and concerns.
  • Manage repair inventory.
  • Data mining to provide critical information to the repair center supervisor.
  • Prepare technical instructions for parts installation, RMA procedures, and other technical writing to support our dealers.
  • Utilize excellent attention to detail to manage various priorities and duties as needs change.
  • Fill service orders, including:
    • review order
    • pull complex electronics parts from warehouse
    • test and program parts, setup for customer
    • box and prepare parts for shipment
  • clean, test and prepare to put into inventory all refurbished items.
  • Locate proper inventory, test, prepare and advance-ship replacement parts for customers.
  • Maintain order/cleanliness in SHG stock areas.
  • Provide proper care and maintenance of company property, including but not limited to office, computer, and telephone equipment.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Strong, demonstrable skills with Microsoft office products required
  • Customer service experience is ideal
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to learn to write clear, technical instructions for parts installation and sign maintenance
  • Good verbal communication skills and very strong attention to detail
  • A desire to solve problems and to develop and follow clear procedures
Education and Licensing
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Associates Degree is preferred
