This is an opportunity to utilize your technical expertise to work for a growing company that is looking to bolster and strengthen their team.This client is an international manufacturer of positive displacement blowers, hybrid blowers, screw compressors and turbo blowers. Their high-quality machines are used for air and gas applications across many essential industries, including wastewater, cement, biogas, pharmaceutical, food and many others.They are sourcing for a Repair Coordinator/Customer Service Manager in their Atlanta, GA office. In this position, you will assist with the daily operation of the field technician team from an office.This includes handling the documentation and orderly flow of work through the repair shops. They need a mechanically inclined individual who has an eye for details, is willing to inspect items in the shop (get a little dirty, especially effective for initial training) and have good communication skills.Half of this job is relaying information to the field service team, while the other half is working with clients to make sure they have what they need. Responsibilities:- Consult with Service Manager and technicians to clarify the proper documentation is available- Review documentation to verify order paperwork flow- Select, locate, and cost specific repair part numbers, processes, services, machining, labor hours - Create bills of material and repair quotes with work scope description - Forward quote to sales with cost breakdown and estimate of repair schedule- Enter required repair items in the sales order and purchase non-inventoried items- Purchase shop materials for ongoing activities, research upgrade alternatives- Assist with the scheduling of daily activities of the mechanics and machinist- Handle parts logistics to make sure they meet the set schedule- Consult with shop and maintain scheduled events- Handle repair documentation and scans- Close repair order and complete the repair invoice to customer- Create/maintain equipment database- Communicate with customers/sales to meet their service needs- Analyze jobs to be completed and adjust, to best satisfy the customer and optimize utilization of mechanics/machinists$26 - $30/hour + overtime. 8am - 5pm. 401(k), tuition reimbursement, profit share bonus package and training.
