Schedule - Mon-Fri 2pm-10:30pm (until finished)Position Overview: Perform various warehouse duties including stocking warehouse shelves with freight by use of a motorized forklift and/or motorized pallet jack. Assist with the picking orders. Responsibilities Include:
- Be able to put away, replenish in Replenishment on Voice, cycle count, and pick in voice
- Be able to move product from overflow to production
- Straighten out product to even it off in location
- Full skids of product moved down to picking level (picking location) and partial skids hand stacked on top of full skid.
- Take shrink wrap off skids that are being put into location.
- Organize the Reserve of items to ensure that the Reserve is closest to the location it belongs to as best as possible.
- Seek out and separate double stacked pallets in the bulk section of the warehouse.
- Assist other warehouse teams (Wegmans, Receiving, Inventory, Cleaners, and Management) members as needed.
- Clean Aisles, keeping them free from debris including stacking pallets, disposing of cardboard, and sweeping the loading area.
Ideal Candidate will Have
- Graduation from high school, the possession of a high school equivalency diploma, or equivalent work experience
- General math skills and the ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written communication from supervisor and coworkers.
- Forklift experience
- Reach Experience a plus
