Landmark Global is continuing its transformation into a leading e-commerce logistics player, and data has a key role in this journey. To cope with our growing activities, we are looking for a Reporting Analyst to enforce our reporting capabilities.

Position Summary

The Reporting Analyst, in collaboration with different stakeholders of the business, is a key enabler in setting up automated & standard reports, analyzing figures, drawing conclusions and driving initiatives that contribute to the further success of our Cross Border business.

You will be part of an international reporting team with a focus on the North American part of the business.

Job Description

As Reporting Analyst, you are responsible for the development of a set of reports that enables business leaders to steer the business – which means you need to be able to understand business needs, challenge and consolidate them and be able to translate them into technical specifications. As Reporting Analyst:

  • You will reuse existing reports formats and improve them where necessary by taking the initiative to integrate new requirements and simplify & harmonize reports based on new tools available.
  • With the help of some external partners, you will develop & create reports to support the cross-border US team and ensure better alignment with the European & Asian teams - where required. This will be mainly related to sales, customer service, operations, transport and network.
  • You will be responsible for setting up the processes, governance & communication of new requests, clarifying the business need, creation of the reports as well as validating and distributing them.
  • You are up to date with technical BI tools for reporting and will utilize automation for report generation within the guidelines of IT & cross border standards.
  • You are able to formulate first findings/conclusions for the reports and analyze and provide feedback to the business to explain the “why” through data, metrics, and reporting.
  • Together with business teams, you define actions based on your findings and follow-up on the realization of these
  • You work closely with the global BI team to ensure data quality and availability.
  • You bring new ideas/solutions to develop new functionalities.
  • You are keen to transfer knowledge and train new users in BI tools.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Position Requirements

As a Reporting Analyst, you are a dynamic team player who combines strong analytical skills with a pragmatic and polyvalent approach and excellent communication skills. In addition, we would like to highlight the following requirements/ qualities needed to be successful in this position:

  • At least 5 years experience in a similar position and in a relevant business environment (logistics industry preferred)
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred
  • You are passionate about working with data & numbers.
  • You have a good knowledge/expertise/experience in usage/development of reporting tools: ability to create, adapt SQL queries and to work extensively with reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI, Birst). Excellent working knowledge of Excel is a must.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with an eye for detail and under tight deadlines. Also working independently is a strong requirement.
  • You have good business and operational acumen, plus a curious and analytical mindset.
  • You have a positive and open mindset that focuses on problem solving not the problem. You also like to work collaboratively with others.
  • Ability to work well with global teams across various regions and time zones
  • You are competent at working with both IT and business professionals, working as a liaison between both worlds and able to translate technical subjects into business lingua and vice versa.

Position Pay Range

  • $65,000 to $75,000 per year based on experience and other factors
  • Position eligible for annual bonus plan based on a percentage of annual salary.
